What is Redeployment?
At DexianTM, our goal is to ensure our consultants have the best experience possible. Not only while you are on contract with us, but also when that contract comes to an end. We established our Redeployment program over 15 years ago to give ultimate visibility and opportunities to our consultants who’ve been on contract with us and are finishing in good standing. Our goal is to work with you for many engagements, not just one and Redeployment is the catalyst of that mentality.
How Does Redeployment Work?
60 days prior to the end of your contract, our dedicated redeployment team at Dexian gets to work! We partner with your Account Manager to verify your end date, or if your current contract is going to be extended. If you are indeed ending, at that point you are added to our Redeployment List that is sent out to our entire company. Our dedicated recruiting teams that support various organizations all over the world, check that list every day, and compare your background and skills to our current open roles. If anything looks to be a good fit, they will reach out to you directly to see if you are interested in being submitted. The timeframe for this program starts 60 days prior to your proposed end date and extends up to 115 days after you have completed your assignment with us.
What Do I Need to do to be Added to the Redeployment List?
-
Tell Someone! When you receive your confirmed end date on your current assignment, please let your Dexian Representative know ASAP. If you aren’t working with a dedicated representative, feel free to email our Redeployment Team at [email protected] and share with them your confirmed end date.
-
Update Your Resume! Update your resume with any new skills or technologies from your most recent role. Make sure that all contact details (phone number, email, etc.) on your resume are accurate as well.
-
Share Your Resume! Send that updated resume to your Dexian Representative or if you don’t have someone, email Redeployment@ dexian.com.
-
Finish In Good Standing! We never want our consultants to burn a bridge or leave their current team in a bad position, so please make sure that you end your assignment on the designated confirmed end date, and that you remain on good terms with your current manager. This will help ensure a long list of future companies and opportunities.
-
Keep an Open Mind! Be open to every call that you receive from a Dexian partner about future opportunities. You may receive multiple calls a day, and while we understand that can be exhausting, we are trying our best to present you with every opportunity possible.
-
Be Transparent! Keep a list of jobs that you are being submitted to, both by Dexian as well as any other companies that you are working with. We never want to redundantly submit you to an opportunity that you have already been sent over for. This could result in you being disqualified for a role and we want to avoid that always. Please keep your recruiter in the loop on everything that you have applied for.
