Job Title : Scientist (Biology Expert)

Location: Temecula, CA

Duration: 12+ months

Pay range: $40-43/hr

Hours: 8am-5pm

Job Description:
Your role will be to identify, evaluate and develop new innovative technologies that address the evolving needs of the Life Science community in Advanced Cell Culture.

Main focus of your work will be on the advancement and implementation of advanced cell culture systems (joint project between HC and Life Science); Initial focus will be on liver, small intestine and kidney models relating to preclinical safety and drug disposition as well as improving our understanding of the interplay of targets and tissue biology.

You work closely with internal partners and in an international cross-sectoral project teams to support them with regards to the project needs and to support the lab on advanced tissue cell culture models. For this purpose, you have experience in cell culture techniques and a good network within the academic arena.

You will work in direct collaboration with Healthcare colleagues – specifically in relation to the development of iPSC derived organoids. Additional scope will include supporting the broader Bioconverghence project.

Education: Doctorate: Biology (must be a strong biologist) must have post doc experience must be strong technically
Good interpersonal skills/ works well with others
Must have:
Organoid experience, stem cell experience, cell biologist
Assay development experience
Microfluidic device experience
All time will be spent in the lab, except when working on reports/presentations
There will be a trip to Germany (undetermined when during their assignment but the manager wants it to be mentioned)
