Internal Auditor

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Internal Auditor for an opportunity with a client located in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations
• Identify the financial risk of the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk
• Identify accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved
• Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability
• Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement
• Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations

Requirements:

• Financial services, federal reserve guidelines experience and 3-5 years of internal audit
• Seeking an experienced internal audit financial services professional with experience conducting model risk management audits. Specifically, seeking resources with knowledge of the Federal Reserve’s guidance on model risk management programs (SR11-7) and experience reviewing model governance, model development, model monitoring, and model validation processes and controls to support the execution of a model risk management audit for a banking client
• Technical experience related to developing models or performing model validation is preferred
• Will work in conjunction and under the supervision of the KPMG Internal Audit team that is performing the internal audit
• Require strong verbal and written communication skills
