Android Tech Lead
Job description
We are looking for a Lead Android Engineer to develop, support, and enhance applications that directly impact store employees. This role requires someone who can work under pressure, jump between applications, and deliver high-quality code while leading a team under the guidance of an engineering manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Android Development: Build and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP).
- Debugging & Optimization: Strong experience with ADB commands for debugging and troubleshooting Android applications.
- Performance & Scalability: Work with RxJava, Dagger 2/Hilt, and Room/Realm databases to ensure efficient app performance.
- Database & Backend Integration: Experience with MySQL or relational databases to support app functionality.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor the development team, ensuring best practices and high-quality code standards.
Nice to Have:
- Cross-Platform Experience: Familiarity with Xamarin, Ionic, or React Native is a plus.
- Front-End Knowledge: Basic understanding of Angular and UI/UX best practices.
- DevOps & Environment Management: Exposure to Linux environments, Docker, and CI/CD processes.
