Production Support Engineer

We are seeking a Production Support Engineer to maintain and optimize critical applications in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting production issues, ensuring system stability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Support & Maintenance: Monitor and maintain Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch applications, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
• Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to REST APIs, JSON, XML, and microservices, conducting root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
• Database & Performance Optimization: Support and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases, leveraging JPA and Hibernate for efficient data processing.
• Automation & Deployment: Manage containerized applications using Docker/Kubernetes and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Maven, and SonarQube for code quality monitoring.
• System Reliability & Security: Work closely with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks, optimize system processes, and ensure compliance with security best practices.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in production support for Java-based applications, including Spring Boot & RESTful services.
• Strong expertise in SQL & NoSQL databases, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools for automated deployments.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis, log monitoring, and system optimization.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
