Job description

Title:: Sr. Product Analyst

Location – New York NY- Hybrid Model

Long term Engagement

Required Skills:

  1. supporting the development of product documentation such as epics and user stories
  2. grooming backlogs
  3. elaborating requirements
  4. supporting prototyping/release planning/road-mapping
  5. prioritization and sequencing of features/stories

2 days on site – Mon and Tue

Team size: 1. Supporting a PO. The agile team is 7 people now, will be increased to 14 next year.

Highly desired:

Settlement systems experience – Fedwire or any alternative.

AWS/Azure cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Support strategic direction for the product, requirements analysis, and supporting business services (risk, audit, governance) to advance product delivery
  • Works closely within agile team(s)/Product Owner(s) to ensure business value (customer/end user key outcomes) is achieved and user feedback is translated into new developments when necessary
  • Provide business analysis and strategic planning, technology demand and roadmap planning for the Product(s) in an agile operating environment such as:

o supporting the development of product documentation such as epics and user stories

o grooming backlogs

o elaborating requirements

o supporting prototyping/release planning/road-mapping

o prioritization and sequencing of features/stories

o business coordination of demos and user feedback sessions

o provides ongoing expertise and guidance on best usage practices

  • Participating in conversations (with Product Manager/Owner) with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Performs industry, business, and technical analysis; contributes to product strategy, roadmaps, and prioritization in line with business objectives
  • In conjunction with Product Owner, manage stakeholder communication and decision-making in line with governance requirements
  • Actively promote Agile behaviors within business areas to support our Agile transformation
  • Drive alignment with other product areas including product interdependencies
  • Partner with business leaders to respond to changing priorities and delivery requirements across multiple products or product areas
  • Support Production Operations during an incident, inclusive of being part of the Product operations staff augmentation as part of Product resiliency
