Senior CLO Compliance Analyst

Job description

A rapidly growing, Dallas-based technology services firm, specializing in developing software applications for firms in the hedge fund and financial services industry. We are seeking an experienced individual with a strong business acumen to execute a variety of operational objectives. As a member of the team, you will work closely with our product groups performing the day-to-day functions, identifying operational improvements, and supporting the various lines of business. Services include but are not limited to data collection, reconciliation, client driven reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Model compliance tests as defined in legal documents onto in-house systems.
  • Interpret legal documents including indentures and credit agreements.
  • Create innovative solutions based upon understanding of client needs, market conditions, and/or technical expertise.
  • Create waterfall calculations as well as borrowing base calculations according to legal documents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data and modeling differences.
  • Train and share knowledge with junior analysts.
  • Create training and procedural documents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting is preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of CLO compliance calculations and financial modeling.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced with CDO/CLO waterfall calculations and/or borrowing base calculations.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex legal documents in order to create calculations for financial models.
