HRIS Analyst
Duration: 06+ months with high chances of extension or conversion to FT
Location: Columbus, OH
Job Description:
- Provides technical and functional administrator expertise for HR systems which includes design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, reporting and training.
- Partners with internal and external stakeholders on HR system usage, functionality, data requirements and design for process improvement.; Troubleshoots and resolves HR system issues.
- Provides HR system support and solutions to include design, development, testing, maintenance, reporting and integration.
- Develops ad hoc reports to support data requests from internal clients.
- Defines logic for reports and develops standard reporting to meet business requirements.
- Ensures the accurate display of data in these systems, recognizing data problems or inconsistencies by understanding HR system data feeds and how they work with other business systems.
- Participates in implementation and updates of HRIS modules.
- Reviews quarterly release notes and communicates system updates to stakeholders.
- Ensures systems are properly working after updates by developing test plans and executing them.
- Provides technical assistance to end users of HR systems and other HR database solutions.
- Monitors adherence to data management procedures.
- Communicates effectively with HR, IT, and management staff to identify problems, resolve inquires and derive appropriate system and/or process solutions.
- Identifies, develops, and delivers HR system training to meet the needs of end users.
Education and minimum experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information technology or business administration.
Two years of experience in a professional human resources capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field.
Expertise:
- Experience with HR Systems required; HR Cloud systems, such as SAP/SuccessFactors, ADP Enterprise, Workday, or similar Core HR/Payroll system, Cornerstone on Demand or other Talent Management System, Applicant Tracking System, and Report writing tools.
- Requires experience in defining system solutions, automation of work processes and implementation of cloud-based systems.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, planning and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks against tight deadlines, maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.
- Must be proficient in use of MS Office suite of products, especially Excel and Access.
- Requires good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must have demonstrated ability to successfully establish effective interpersonal relationships with a variety of management, staff, and work independently toward project deliverables.
- Maintains expert user knowledge of client HR system solutions and develops an understanding of the underlying data structure.
