Claims Contact Center Representative

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Claims Contact Center Representative for an opportunity with a client located in Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities:

  • Take incoming phone calls from customers including agents and beneficiaries regarding death and living benefit claims
  • Review and navigate image system for status of claim
  • Complete intake notification to begin a claim
  • Demonstrates ability to self-organize, set priorities and manage workload
  • Monitors, measures and assesses processes to determine areas of improvement; identifies and eliminates operational waste
  • Understands basic data concepts
  • Contributes to deliverables by executing work and providing team members with appropriate status updates

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Insurance experience in customer service or claims
