Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team responsible for migrating a Power BI platform from on-premises infrastructure to AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud technologies, with a focus on AWS and Azure, and strong experience in development, scripting, and API integration. This role requires someone with a hands-on approach and proven success in large-scale cloud migration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration of the existing Power BI platform from on-premises to AWS Cloud.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to design, develop, and implement scalable cloud solutions.
  • Leverage AWS services and Azure cloud expertise to optimize migration strategies.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and infrastructure management.
  • Build and manage REST APIs and Power BI APIs to enhance platform functionality.
  • Write Python scripts to support automation, data processing, and cloud management tasks.
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Ensure performance, security, and scalability of the migrated cloud platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6-7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with expertise in AWS and Azure.
  • Proven experience in cloud migration projects, especially on-prem to AWS.
  • Strong development skills in PowerShell scripting and Python.
  • Expertise in REST API development and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI API development.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD frameworks and automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture, deployment models, and best practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Snowflake and its integration with cloud platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams.
