Internal Audit Consultant

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Internal Audit Consultant for an opportunity with a client located in Short Hills, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Lead walk-throughs
• Develop test procedures
• Perform and document audit testing for control design and effectiveness
• Discuss test results and issues with applicable stakeholders, draft issues

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and block-chain technologies, including their associated risks and controls
• Require strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• Self-starter, with the ability to operate independently while working under the supervision of an Auditor In Charge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrates inquisitive behavior including, but not limited to root cause analysis
• Provide recommendations and guidance on internal control enhancements to management based on audit findings
• Ability to engage and support audit projects including attending and outlining walkthroughs and auditee meetings
• Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Block-chain Professional (CBP) are preferred but not required
