Senior Performance and Reliability Engineer/Architect

Responsibilities:

* Fix long standing performance issues in several legacy codebases, extending project life.
* Work directly with 3rd party vendors to improve performance, resiliency and security of their system; including: a manufacturer of tower equipment, VNF content provisioning, raw network handling, software contractor for billing systems, networking and infrastructure system
* Provide technical and architectural insight into: IOT service scaling, massive booking authentication design, video storage solutions, cloud recording, cloud storage design, cloud individual data handling, website scaling design, geodiversity of applications, handling of legalities of online storage
* Directly work on scalability issues in authentication services, authorization systems, in home security and video management, billing and payment systems, call handling systems, texting services, JIT video authorization
* Correct 3rd party designs for mS architectural services and 5G deployments
* Diagnose and fixed major performance and resiliency issues in Security Systems, Content Provisioning Systems, Home Automation Systems, Content Providing Systems, Video Streaming Systems
* Manage several resiliency efforts with measured uptime improvements
* Solve significant threading and synchronization issues built into legacy software
* Use resiliency and redundancy techniques to scale systems
* Manage troubleshooting and updating efforts for mission critical applications
* Analyze code for inefficiencies and non-resilient practices
* Analyze software designs and layouts for resiliency and performance
* Publish internal guidelines for writing software
