3rd party Cybercrime specialist

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a 3rd Party Cybercrime Specialist for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Support the cyber contract and assessments function in the backlog of assessments and contracts and will actively participate in the intake process as well as initial drafts of assessments
• Supports the Line of Business (LOB) through the client assessment program, in which potential or existing clients request an assessment to be conducted across the enterprise, to include the company’s security policies and controls
• Supports those efforts and drives the responses for the information security sections
• Requires follow ups or calls with the clients in an effort to fulfill the client requests and secure the business

Requirements:

• Have a general understanding of information security controls
• Familiar with responding to completing information security due diligence questionnaires and assessments
• Intake new client assessment requests
• Understand and communicate information security policy and implementation of underlying controls
• Support the LOB in negotiation and communication of contractual assurances that are consistent with, and supportable by, an information security program
• Influence to obtain participation and buy-in from various groups and stakeholders across the company
• Serve as a senior Information Security representative and participate in the training and support of LOB on information security matters
• Manage operational/administrative governance routines, including process documentation, playbooks, and tool refreshes
• 3-5 years’ experience in information security policy and/or information security compliance
• Effective verbal and written communication skills – must be able to explain key concepts and concerns to non-experts and reconcile those issues with written/contractual requirements
• Critical reading skills
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate internally and externally, both orally and written, at all levels (Senior, Mid-level, etc.)
• Attention to detail in written communications
• Significant experience in presenting at all levels
• Self-starter, comfortable operating in the “grey” and making recommendations for next steps; strong problem solver
• Strong relationship management skills: high level of interpersonal skills to interact with leaders at multiple levels and drive projects across various FLUs
• Familiarity with cyber security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO, COBIT)
