Job description
JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Sales Representative who will be responsible for selling the company’s products or services. Calls to prospective customers, provide technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quote appropriate customer prices. Responsible for accounts/customers/clients within an established geographic territory, limited industry, product segment, or channel. 5-7 years of experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop strong relationships at all levels within assigned accounts.
· Champion account needs at all levels internally and externally to balance customer needs, sales, and profitability.
· Lead, train, and educate account sales and marketing teams to promote and advocate brands to stakeholders and their customers.
· Achieve sales quotas, targets, and growth goals.
· Analyze revenue, sales targets, and account expenses.
· Ensure accuracy with pricing, listings, reporting, etc. to maintain profitability.
· Schedule and facilitate weekly or bi-weekly conference calls with assigned accounts and partner teams.
· Develop regular sales reports with key insights to internal leadership team.
· Give sales presentations to high-level executives.
· Manage retail inventory and sales forecasting.
· Manage interdepartmental relationships, i.e., Channel Marketing, Logistics, Accounting, Order Management, Advertising, Product Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
· Discover and build new relationships within accounts to uncover new opportunities.
· Provide feedback on market conditions, competitor activities, and pricing.
· Drive and define our retail strategy in assigned accounts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
· 4+ years experience in the retail sales, experience in electronics, PCs, gaming, or Amazon a plus
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Strong knowledge of Excel and Outlook
· Detail oriented, problem solver
· Ability to prioritize and manage several different tasks at once
· Ability to present and communicate and influence at all levels of both customer and internal executive leaders
· History of achieving and exceeding sales targets
