Job Summary

The Junior Business Process Analyst will support the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes to drive operational efficiency. This role focuses on creating detailed workflow and process documentation using Microsoft Visio as the primary tool. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and a keen interest in process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workflow and Process Documentation:
    • Create and maintain detailed process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) using Microsoft Visio.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and document current-state and future-state processes.
    • Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and accessible to relevant teams.
  • Process Analysis:
    • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Assist in recommending process enhancements to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Data Gathering and Reporting:
    • Collect and organize data to support process analysis and improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of experience in business process analysis, workflow documentation.
    • Demonstrated experience creating workflow and process documentation.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio as a primary tool for process mapping and diagramming.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with User Interface (UI) design or analysis, particularly in supporting process-related software or applications, is a plus but not required.
