Field Service Technician (Diesel or Heavy Equipment)

Job Title: Diesel Field Technician

Location: Raleigh, NC

Full Time Role

Pay Range: $28-30/hr ($70-80k/annum)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Field Technician with a strong background in construction diesel equipment to join our team. This is a field-based role requiring a high level of technical skill, independence, and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience (15 years preferred) working with heavy construction equipment, particularly Caterpillar engines, and a proven track record in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing major repairs and rebuilds.

Diesel Tech’s
Told us not to spin our wheels on it as it will be an uphill battle to get approvals to use vendors but if we identify a rockstar candidate he believes they will have a conversation.
– Looking for someone 10-15 years of experience (15-years pref).
– Construction Diesel Exp is crucial as well. They have seen good candidates that have worked with diesel equipment but not with a construction background.
– Experience working on heavy equipment (IE Bulldozer)
– Open to candidates relocating from another state, for a true rockstar they will probably be open to pay for a truck to move the candidates belongings
– Caterpillar engine experience, trouble shoot, repairing engine rebuilds, forklift exp
– Certs – Hyster Yale preferred (more worried about construction exp)
