Job Title: Field Support Trainer
Remote
Contract : (6 months possible extension)
Pay Range: $35-$38/hr
About the Role:
* Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a- 5p (40 hr/week)
* Location: Virtual US; with ability to travel to Westbrook, ME. Will need to travel at least once this year.
Required Skillsets:
* Veterinary industry experience
* Content creation experience (ie. RISE, Camtasia, Docebo, etc.)
* Training facilitation experience, both in person and virtual
In This Role You Will:
* Conduct training needs assessments against current and future trainings to deliver optimal results.
* Identify, design and develop curriculums and learning solutions that meet different learning styles, incorporate adult learning theory and have stated measurable objectives.
* Conduct and deliver technical, product and/or soft skill training on-site and via e-learning, mobile/tablet and/or other virtual formats.
* Evaluate participants on set criteria, document feedback and share the evaluation with supervisors and participants.
* Track and analyze success of programs using methods identified in measurement plan.
* Recommend and implement creative solutions.
* Conduct training cost assessments as needed.
* Develop and maintain knowledge of industry best practices in adult learning, company products and internal systems.
* Support quality management system/program and other compliance requirements.
* Lead, coach, motivate, develop and/or directly manage others.

* Ability to understand and effectively communicate and teach complex, technical information to a variety of audiences.
* Ability to work independently and in teams
* Computer proficiency: advanced Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills
* Knowledge of adult learning theory
* Knowledge of products and services preferred
* Veterinary/medical experience preferred
* Sales and leadership experience a plus
* For Sales Training: Experience with SalesForce.com preferred
* For Reference Lab Training: Knowledge of veterinary Good Clinical Practice (vGCP) or Good Laboratory Practice (vGLP) as appropriate; certification as a Medical Technologist (MT), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), Medical Lab Technologist (MLT), or equivalent military, technical school, or veterinary technician program completion certificate preferred
* For Instructional Design: Experience with utilization of authoring tools (i.e. Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate, other); experience with LMS/LCMS authoring technologies
* You meet the physical requirements that go with working as a Trainer – Extensive sitting, phone and computer use. May be required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds. Extended hours may be required.
