Senior Software Engineer
Basic Qualifications
- To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Proficient in DCL (Digital Command Language) scripting and RMS (OpenVMS Record Management System – Indexed files)”
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or similar field
- Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in software engineering
- Demonstrated software development expertise and experience with OpenVMS Macro Assembly for at least 5 years
- Demonstrated software development experience with TCP and UDP protocols and XML and Json message formats
- Experience in full product life cycle
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
- Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or similar field
- Experience in Public Safety Solutions
- Experience with computer aided dispatch systems
- Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in OpenVMS operating system
- Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience performing software engineering in an Agile environment
