Billing Specialist

About the Role
The Client Accounting team plays a key role within the organization, focusing on client-related financial activities and billing operations. This collaborative team ensures efficient and accurate handling of accounting processes while supporting client services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue daily invoices for a large client base.
- Review billing details for errors, opportunities, and coding issues.
- Respond to billing inquiries from internal teams and clients.
- Compile and distribute monthly reports on billing and timesheets.
- Manage project structures and maintain related records.
- Process journal entries and reconcile accounts.
- Conduct collection activities, including follow-ups and documentation.
- Analyze write-offs to improve billing accuracy.
- Complete projects assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
