Behavior Analytics and Mitigation Consultant

Job Summary:
Dexian is seeking a Behavior Analytics and Mitigation Consultant for an opportunity with a client located in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth evaluations to understand the root causes and patterns of problematic behaviors. This might involve direct observation, interviews, and data analysis
- Design personalized strategies and techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce unwanted ones, tailoring the approach to individual needs
- Oversee the implementation of intervention plans, which may involve training others (e.g., staff, family members). Continuously monitor progress and make adjustments to the plan as needed
- Work closely with clients, their families, and other professionals (e.g., teachers, psychologists, medical providers) to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach
- Provide training and support to caregivers, staff, and other stakeholders on implementing behavior management strategies
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making, track progress, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
- Ensure compliance with relevant ethical guidelines and standards, particularly regarding patient confidentiality and evidence-based practices
Requirements:
- Recent experience in Behavior Analytics and Mitigation
- Experience as an Analyst in a DLP setting
- Insider Risk/Threat experience
- Proofpoint, M365, Defender, Splunk, Azure
- Deep understanding of human psychology, development, and behavioral patterns
- Proficiency in ABA principles and techniques, such as reinforcement, shaping, and prompting
- Ability to conduct thorough functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and identify the triggers and consequences of behaviors
- Skill in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to measure progress and make informed decisions
- Ability to develop individualized and effective behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Adherence to professional and ethical codes, particularly concerning patient confidentiality and dignity
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and empathy, especially when working with vulnerable populations
- Ability to remain patient and persistent when working with individuals who may present significant behavioral challenges
- Analytical and creative thinking to develop and adjust intervention plans based on data and individual responses
- Ability to effectively communicate complex behavioral concepts to clients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
