Job Title: Product Designer

Location: Minneapolis MN (Hybrid role)

Duration: 6+ months

Role Summary:
Our client is looking to bring on a Senior Product Designer to lead and deliver sophisticated user experiences for sensitive, data-centric platforms. This individual will help define how users interact with and extract value from complex data, contributing to both the product’s strategy and its execution. They will join an experienced team focused on building secure, customer-facing tools in a CSI (Controlled Sensitive Information) environment.

Key Responsibilities:
-Lead the design and execution of intuitive, elegant user experience solutions from concept to delivery.
-Manage UX elements across full product lifecycle, including updates and iterations.
-Translate business and user needs into strategy, prototypes, and high-fidelity deliverables such as:

-Discovery research
-Wireframes & mockups
-Site maps, task flows & navigation models
-Interactive prototypes
-Visual system design & templates
-Design with a strong understanding of how users interact with data-driven content, ensuring solutions are both functional and meaningful.
-Actively contribute to project planning, manage timelines, and ensure key milestones are met.
-Test, refine, and evolve UX solutions based on feedback, user research, and analytics.
-Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, and QA) to align on functionality and feasibility.
-Consult and present design ideas with peers, managers, and stakeholders to drive consensus.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
-Demonstrated success leading complex UX/UI design projects, especially involving data visualization and interpretation.
-Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and tools.
-Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments-can self-direct, ask questions, and drive clarity.
-Strong verbal communication and storytelling abilities; can confidently present design rationale.
-Comfortable with sensitive data environments (CSI-compliant).
-Creative problem solver who can bring structure to loosely defined challenges.
