Accountant

We’re seeking a skilled and detail-driven accounting professional to take ownership of core financial operations while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time schedule-with the stability of full-time benefits. What You’ll Do:

• Lead and execute accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Manage daily financial transactions using MRP software
• Prepare and file multi-state Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) returns via Avalara
• Process bi-weekly payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local laws
• Produce timely, clear financial reports for leadership
• Coordinate with vendors, banks, and external accountants to keep operations seamless
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets
• Step in on general office functions as needed-you’re a team player

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience
• Deep understanding of GAAP and TPT regulations
• Experience handling monthly closing processes and payroll

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (Syspro preferred)
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Dropbox
