Summary:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative AI Governance Analyst to support the implementation of AI governance frameworks, policies, and deliverables across organizational projects. Reporting to the Senior Manager, AI Governance. The AI Governance Analyst will work closely with project teams to ensure compliance with governance standards, contribute to risk assessment activities, and track progress on governance deliverables. The AI Governance Analyst will be instrumental in promoting transparency, accountability, and alignment across departments on ethical AI practices, compliance, and risk management.

- Will need to effectively collaborate and communicate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrates flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach to navigating changes and uncertainties in the AI landscape
- Experience in managing shifting priorities and adapting strategies to align with emerging trends and organizational goals is highly valued.
- Familiarity with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework is required.
- Knowledge of ethical considerations in AI, such as bias, transparency, and accountability.
- Awareness of existing and emerging regulations related to AI governance
- Understanding of AI system architecture and lifecycle management.
- Commitment to ongoing education and staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in AI governance.
- Participation in workshops, training sessions, and professional certifications related to AI governance.
- Must be proficient in MS Office products. Will need to lead and/or create presentations for relevant AI Governance or project meetings.
- Experience in supporting projects in Agile-Waterfall hybrid methodologies (scrum/agile).
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving and analysis; ability to learn and draw on analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to satisfy project and stakeholder objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
AI Governance Deliverable Management
- Collaborate with project teams to manage AI Governance-related deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Track progress on governance tasks and maintain clear documentation to support reporting and accountability.
- Assist in aligning project activities with AI Governance frameworks and ethical guidelines.
- Conduct research and provide strategic insights on ethical AI, transparency, and fairness as part of new or ongoing AI projects.
- Adversarial Testing and Monitoring
- Design and oversee adversarial testing procedures (red teaming/jailbreaking) to evaluate AI models for robustness, fairness, and resilience to external threats.
- Develop monitoring tools and processes to track AI system performance and identify emerging risks in real time.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement safeguards against identified vulnerabilities and governance risks.
- Risk and Compliance Support
- Familiar with AI regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements (e.g. ISO 42001; OECD Principles on Artificial Intelligence, European Commission’s Ethics Guidelines for Trustworthy AI, etc.).
- Support risk assessments by gathering data, preparing reports, and identifying potential compliance issues.
- Assist in monitoring AI system performance to ensure adherence to governance pol
- Assist in partnering with external stakeholders, as needed, to benchmark and refine risk management approaches.
- 4. Process and Workflow Coordination
- Help establish and maintain workflows for documenting and resolving governance issues within projects.
- Provide project teams with guidance on AI Governance processes and ensure alignment with organizational standards.
- Identify opportunities to streamline AI Governance-related processes for increased efficiency.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with Data& AI, Privacy, Legal, Compliance and Security teams to ensure AI Governance requirements are clearly understood and integrated into projects.
- Act as a liaison between project teams and the AI Governance group, facilitating communication and collaboration.
- Assist in organizing and participating in AI Governance meetings, such as the AI Enterprise Governance Working Group and AI Risk Review Board.
6.Support for AI Powered productivity tools – Pilot Programs
- As needed, collaborate closely with third-party vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure these pilots meet the organization’s AI Governance and risk management requirements.
- Work with the team to track and document progress, feedback, and findings from the AI powered productivity pilot programs.
- Assist in collecting user feedback, analyzing program data, and identifying governance risks related to privacy, bias, and compliance.
- Contribute to preparing reports and recommendations for leadership on the programs’ governance outcomes and scaling potential.
7.Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare regular updates and reports on AI Governance deliverables for leadership and project stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed reports on risk management activities, findings, and mitigation strategies to leadership.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of AI Governance activities, including risks, issues, and resolutions.

8.Policy and Training Support
- Support the development and implementation of AI Governance policies by contributing research and analysis.
- Assist in delivering training sessions and materials on AI Governance standards and practices to project teams.
