Application Developer (Ruby)
12-month contract

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Team is of 8 people including Product Owner Business Analyst, Business stakeholders and scrum lead and the team works in an Agile Process.
- They are looking for a senior level candidate who can contribute in the high-level designing systems
- They are looking for a Ruby developer with experience of 5-10 years.
- The candidate will work on the backend development
- The team is primarily using Ruby, but the middle office team is trying to transition the code in Java but it’s a longer approach and process.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Ruby (Framework is Ruby on Rails) (No specific versions as long as the candidate has the experience working with Ruby for the past couple of years)
- Experience working Distributed system
- Microservices
- Have experience in the TDD environment.
- Messaging – Rabbit MQ, IBM MQ
- Database – Postgres – Preferred (Any RDBMS works)

- Java
