Business Analyst – Foreign Exchange (FX)
Job description
Title: Business Analyst- foreign exchange
Location – Chicago IL – 3 days/week onsite
Long term engagement
- Looking for BA within foreign exchange trading.
- Will be working directly with agile team.
- Want someone both technical and front office space, ideally with FX experience.
- Would like them to understand FX markets/space.
- Don’t want the serial BA who has worked with a bunch of different firms – would prefer someone with FX over this.
- Front office keywords: order management. system, execution, working with traders specifically
- really need understanding of trading
- Would be okay with back-office FX who show potential
- Prefer ADO but open to Jira
Day to day: 4 different agile teams working on upgrading system, etc. Will be sitting on trading floor with traders and understanding why on what we are doing. Traders may say lets change xyz and this person needs to understand business reasoning and then writing stories in ADO so developers can pick this up. Need to create backlogs for developers. Need to bridge gap between traders and developers.
