Business Analyst – Unemployment Insurance Sys

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with at least 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in identifying business requirements, analyzing data, and creating process documentation such as wireframes and flowcharts. Experience with Unemployment Insurance Systems is required. This role will support the development and implementation of business solutions to optimize processes and drive organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external) to identify, analyze, and document business requirements. Ensure all requirements are clearly defined and understood across the team.
• Leverage expertise in Unemployment Insurance Systems to assess business needs and system functionality.

Process Mapping & Improvement

• Analyze and document current business processes using wireframes, flowcharts, and other process modeling tools.
• Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement, working with cross-functional teams to design optimized solutions.
• Apply knowledge of Unemployment Insurance Systems to enhance workflows and compliance processes.

Stakeholder Communication

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are communicated and addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates and facilitate discussions to ensure alignment.

Wireframing & Flowcharting

• Design and develop wireframes, flowcharts, and other visual representations of business processes, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding.
• Use these tools to guide solution design and communicate ideas effectively.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze business data to support decision-making, track KPIs, and monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
• Provide actionable insights through reports and presentations.

Solution Design & Implementation Support

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that the proposed solutions align with business needs.
• Assist in the testing phase to ensure business requirements are met and work with teams to resolve any issues.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
• Ensure all documentation is up to date and complies with company standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience in agile software development environments is required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of successfully identifying requirements and improving business processes.
• Experience working with Unemployment Insurance Systems is required.
• Strong experience with wireframing, flowcharting, and other process documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Balsamiq).
• Proficient in business analysis methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, BPMN).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong collaboration and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Azure DevOps experience is a big plus
• Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools for reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work with Data
