INTERVIEW ONSITE (Irving)
As a BI Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and create visualizations that support decision-making processes. Your expertise in Databricks, Kafka, data visualization, and API consumption will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using Databricks and other relevant tools.
- Implement and manage data pipelines using Kafka for real-time data processing.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Integrate and consume data from third-party applications via APIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Implement and optimize Spark jobs, data transformations, and data processing workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Databricks and Kafka.
- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with API integration and data consumption from third-party applications.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Python or Scala.
- Experience with Azure Databricks and other Azure services.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with predictive analytics.
