Job Title: Business Analyst
Location : Worcester, MA (Hybrid)
Contract : (6 months possible extension)
Pay Range: $60-65/hr
About the Role:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Technical & Scientific Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both enterprise software deployment and scientific research, with experience in biology, chemistry, or bioinformatics. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement software solutions that drive scientific progress and business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and scientific requirements.
- Implement technology solutions that align with company goals and scientific objectives.
- Facilitate enterprise software deployment projects with a focus on improving laboratory and research workflows.
- Analyze and interpret scientific data to derive insights that support business strategies.
- Serve as a liaison between the technical teams and scientific researchers to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Conduct validation and testing of software solutions to ensure compliance with scientific and business standards.
- Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the adoption and effectiveness of new technologies.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and scientific methodologies to recommend improvements or new solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Biology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Experience in drug discovery research is a strong plus, but not required.
- Experience with one or more the following scientific areas is a strong plus: antibody design and engineering, gene therapy, cell therapy, and stem cell engineering.
- Proven experience in supporting enterprise software deployment and development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex scientific and technical data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Understanding of laboratory environments and scientific research processes.
- Familiarity with programming languages, databases, and statistical analysis tools.
- Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA are a plus.
