Business Systems Consultant

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Business Systems Consultant for an opportunity with a client located in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations to validate financial data and ensure accuracy
• Conduct regression testing to identify discrepancies and validate data integrity
• Develop and execute testing scripts to compare financial data across different reporting periods
• Utilize Excel (including Macros, VBA, and advanced formulas) to analyze and validate large data sets
• Collaborate with Risk Analytics teams to support financial reporting and compliance initiatives
• Provide recommendations for resolving financial discrepancies and optimizing reconciliation processes

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Risk Analytics, Accounting, or Financial Data Analysis, or equivalent experience through consulting, training, military, or education
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation principles and financial data validation
• Experience with regression testing and test script execution in a financial setting
• Proficiency in Excel (VBA, Macros, Pivot Tables, and Formulas) for data analysis and automation’s
• Experience in securities, investment accounting, or financial reconciliation
• Knowledge of financial reporting systems and data validation techniques
