Title: Cloud Solutions Architect
Location – NY- Hybrid Model

About the project:
- This is about migrating the on-perm apps to cloud AWS, they have done a lot of migration but, still there are enough apps that should be moved to AWS.
- Lots of apps and solutions are on AWS but few are remaining so they must look at these on-prem apps (mostly on Java) and design the target solution that would run on AWS.
Insights of the role:
- Plan & migration has been sorted but this is more about the implementation architecture.
- No hands-on coding but should know codes as this will be an architect role. More about designing the app, technical designing, and all. Knowledge of Java is a must so that they can help the developers and other development team.
About the Role:
- This role is for a cloud Architect – someone who is skilled in AWS and its services.
Required Skills:
- ECS (for containerization)
- Kafka
- Terraform
- Fargate
- Knowledge of database services offered with AWS, Lambdas, etc.
- Migration exp to AWS.
- Integration skills
- RESTAPIs
- Okta for security auth. (integrating with Okta)
Certifications:
- AWS solution Architect (not a must-have but, will be preferred)
Education & Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years of experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
Technical Skills:
– In-depth knowledge of mainstream architectures, and technologies in an AWS environment – more specifically, AWS services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda. VPC and ELB.
– Detailed and low-level knowledge, experience, and understanding of security and integration patterns, and protocols including REST API, Messaging, Basic Auth, OAUTH, SAML, OIDC.
– Ability to produce actionable technical design documents for critical and complex scoped items collaborating with developers.
– Must have broad understanding of enterprise integration and able to influence the right solution approach taking all stakeholder viewpoints.
