Cloud Engineer

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years of cloud experience
• Proven hands-on experience with two or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go
• Craft and develop Java-based application programming interfaces (APIs) and event-driven applications to improve back-end performance
• Extensive experience with relational databases
• Experience working with AWS services like Identity and Access Management, VPCs, Security groups, ELB, etc
• Extensive knowledge of Docker containers, with the ability to implement containerization of applications from scratch
• Perform CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous deployment) using tools like Jenkins for deploying application Docker containers in both production and non-production environments
• Proven experience working with EKS, RDS, and other components of AWS infrastructure for deploying applications using Docker containers and managing their interactions
• Extensive experience working with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CloudFormation Templates, Terraform, Azure ARM templates)
• Experience working with event-driven microservice architecture
• Experience working with test automation frameworks
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or information technology

• Core language needed: preferably 2 (Java, Go, Python) – Java is preferred.
• API development experience
• Terraform
• AWS experience – extensive – Ec2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, ELB, Security Groups. Strong application in Docker
• Strong Application in CI/CD (Jenkins)
