About the Role:

We’re seeking a dynamic and resourceful Communications Manager to be a key part of the Leasing Advisory Communications team and play a pivotal role in supporting our external communications and recognition programs. You’ll work closely with the Senior Director of Communications to drive key initiatives, generate PR coverage and ensure consistent, effective communication. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, collaborative team member, and demonstrates strong critical thinking skills.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic communications plans that align to Americas business goals
  • Lead the sourcing and development of “wins” aka success stories for national external distribution
  • Proactively create and refine PR angles and pitches for Office leasing (tenant rep and agency leasing)
  • Under direction of senior team members, work with U.S.-based PR agencies regionally, as needed
  • Manage award submissions process across Leasing verticals, including industrial, retail and office
  • Work closely with the Research team to coordinate external PR pushes around key reports and findings
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and prepare reports
  • Assist in the development of thought leadership content and speaking engagements
  • Prepare briefing materials for company spokespersons and general PR materials, including press releases, talking points, messaging, etc.
  • Work closely with Internal Communications to drive synergies across campaigns

Candidate Profile

5-8 years related experience, preferably in commercial real estate. This person has a well-rounded strategic communications background. Key attributes and skills include:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, and verbal communication
  • Collaborative disposition; ability to solve problems constructively and proactively to achieve a positive outcome
  • Creative problem solver and self-starter with demonstrated agility and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, journalism or related field
