Content Strategist
Solution Lifecycle: Leads content strategy and creation, while ensuring high-quality and consistent experience.
Discovery and Sprint:
- Participates in and contributes to rapid alignment workshops and discovery sessions
- Leads voice and tone discovery workshops and interviews, when applicable
- Conducts and assists customer research and interviews
- Conducts competitive analysis and collects industry best practices for UX writing
- Educates on the benefits of the content practice and processes among team members and stakeholders
- Deliverables:
- Drafts voice and tone guidance
- Creates a roadmap of content and outlines how that can be integrated with design and business goals
Delivery:
Roadmap:
- Collaborates with Product Owner and team members to translate business requirements into a solution for customer validation and/or delivery
- Determines and communicates recommendations related to content deliverables and dependencies
- Advises on backlog building and the creation of user stories for content
- Works with the product owner and stakeholders to understand requirements for content
Sprints:
- Works with design to draft user-friendly content that is consistent with established voice and tone and supports business goals
- Collaborates with design team to incorporate content into flows
- Ensures content, consistency across OpCos and work streams
- Attends sprint demos and provides context for why content and voice was chosen
- Conduct quality assurance alongside design quality assurance
- Synthesizes feedback from team members and stakeholders into the best experience for the user
- Incorporates and advocates for content, standards, and guidelines
- Participates in scrum ceremonies and program increment (PI) planning
- Advances content related documentation in partnership with analysts

- Supports team during pre-release or release activities when applicable
