Job description

Job Title: Creative Operations Producer – Global Events
Position Type/Duration of Assignment: Contract 3 to 6 months

Locations: Mountain View, CA 94043
Work Model: Hybrid Onsite 2-3 days Week

Pay range: $75-$77/HR.

Job Description:

We’re looking for a Creative Operations Producer to support a large-scale, high-visibility internal program (GED) from planning through live execution and post-event wrap-up. This is a high-scope role that sits at the intersection of creative production, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination.

Client’s GED is a biannual, weeklong innovation sprint that fuels a thriving builder culture. GED galvanizes technologists across the globe to experiment, prototype, and build solutions that accelerate customer impact. It’s held at 13 locations worldwide and includes 10,000 technologists across the company.

You’ll inherit a well-structured playbook and hit the ground running – owning the operational engine that keeps creative work moving on time, on brand, and on budget. The best person for this role is as comfortable in a planning sync as they are triaging a live print queue on event day.

This is a Creative Ops role – not a design role, not a traditional PM role. The best candidates will know the difference.

What You’ll Own:

Program & Milestone Management

Own the creative program schedule from planning through post-event. Track deliverables, post proactive status updates, flag risks before they become blockers, and keep all workstreams moving in parallel.

Creative Production & Vendor Management

Run end-to-end print creative production across multiple vendors – from file submission and color testing through final delivery. Review SOWs, manage timelines, hold vendors accountable, and coordinate shipping to domestic and global sites. Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Serve as the connective tissue between design, leadership approvals, facilities and security, and global site teams. Ideate early. Translate feedback in both directions, facilitate weekly syncs, and distribute clear meeting notes with assigned owners.

Live Event Execution

Act as the real-time operational lead and asset production partner during event week – triaging the daily print queue, managing last-minute changes, routing assets, navigating inclusive communication with engaged facilities and security teams, troubleshooting on-site issues, and keeping the team informed under pressure. Critical to the role is ensuring that the production, placement and quality of building clings, event signage and other assets in the weeks leading up to the event and the program are executed cleanly and effectively.

Post-Event Wrap-Up

Drive the creative program to a clean close – completing debrief materials, supporting the retrospective, facilitating contributor recognition, managing any residual production needs, and setting future programs up for success.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years in Creative Operations, event production, or marketing operations with hands-on experience managing vendors, running programs in matrixed environments, and supporting live event execution.

Beyond the resume, we’re hiring for these specific traits:

  • Complex logistics oversight – Able to effectively manage large quantities of assets while having a strong understanding of the systems, the players and where bottlenecks may occur.
  • Ownership mindset – you treat the program as yours to run well, not a checklist to get through
  • Self-direction – you build your own structure and keep things moving without being pushed
  • Proactive communication – stakeholders always know where things stand because you told them first
  • Stakeholder influence without authority – you build credibility fast and move things forward without a formal reporting line
  • Process thinking – you run the playbook and improve it; you flag problems and come with solutions
  • Adaptability – you maintain composure when things change and treat pivots as opportunities
  • Curiosity – you want to understand why the program exists, not just what needs to ship this week

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Production, Business, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
