Data Architect
Job description
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join a leading asset management firm on a contract basis. This role will be instrumental in supporting the transition of enterprise reporting systems from VisionFI to CORIEC, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across the organization.
This is a hybrid role based in Boston, requiring periodic on-site collaboration with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of 120+ reports from VisionFI to CORIEC, ensuring minimal disruption to reporting workflows.
- Design and implement a common API layer that interfaces with Seismic and CORIEC to streamline access to enterprise data.
- Utilize Dagster to manage and track the data lifecycle across the firm, ensuring end-to-end data observability and integrity.
- Collaborate with reporting, engineering, and business teams to gather requirements, map data flows, and validate report outputs.
- Ensure scalability, maintainability, and documentation of data architecture components.
- Recommend best practices for data integration, lineage tracking, and system performance optimization.
