Data Quality Developer

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Data Quality Developer for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements
• Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
• Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
• Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
• Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of tenants requirements
• Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work
• Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
• Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality
• Participate, contribute and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes

Requirements:

• Computer Science/ IT degree preferred
• 8+ years of relevant application and/or framework development experience using Python and/or Java, with strong fundamentals and prior-programming experience with API integration
• Hands on experience in working with Postgres database
• Experience with one orchestration tools such as Autosys
• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as ansible, bitbucket, etc
• Some experience working in Linux environment with ability to run common commands
• Bachelors’ Degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or other technical related field
• Experience in relational databases such as Oracle, SQL server, Hadoop, Hive etc
• Analytical skills to perform technical and functional analysi
• Prior Experience with some kind of Data Quality tools/solutions
• Ability to work with minimal guidance towards end-to-end application delivery
• Ability to work with global teams and can work well under pressure
• Self-motivated and team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
