Test Engineer/QA Analyst – Derivatives and Investment Products
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer/QA Analyst with expertise in testing derivatives workflows and investment products, including but not limited to fixed income and equities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the order management system CRD and be familiar with testing various asset classes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of derivatives workflows and investment products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to validate the accuracy and reliability of the software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate testing tools and methodologies.
- Perform root cause analysis and work closely with the development team to resolve any issues or bugs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in derivatives and investment products testing.
- Provide timely and accurate test status reports to stakeholders and management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer/QA Analyst, specifically in testing derivatives workflows and investment products.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives instruments, and investment products.
- Familiarity with asset classes such as fixed income and equities.
- Expertise in testing order management systems, preferably with experience in CRD.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Must be local to Boston and willing to go on-site in a hybrid work model.
