Diesel/Engine Technician

Job Title: Engine Field Service Technician – Level II
Duration: 5 months+ contract

Location: Morgan City LA 70380

Pay Rate: $23 to $25 hourly on W2

JOB SUMMARY

Description:

Techs must be available anytime, day or night, with the ability to be to the shop within 30-60 minutes. Techs will take drive their own vehicle to the shop and then ride with another tech to the job site in a service truck. Only senior level technicians are allowed to have work vehicles.

A sea trial must be done after every repair, so candidates must be open to sea trials.

Initially, all travel will be within 2 hours of the shop, east and west along the gulf coast following where the ship is at. As technicians become more advanced, further travel and eventually even international travel is possible (higher level), so a TWIC card and passport are a plus, but not required.

Interviews will consist of a phone screen with the recruiter. If selected to move on, candidates will then participate in a 90-minute video interview with the hiring team.
