Job Title: Engine Field Service Technician – Level II
Duration: Full Time
Location: Morgan City, LA 70380
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr – $30.77/hr
JOB SUMMARY
Description:
Job Title: Marine Field Service Diesel Technician
Hours: On-call required;
14 days on and 7 days off ;
Expect to work 12-16 hours/day.
OT: Guaranteed 48 hours weekly, regardless of workload.
Hiring Bonus: $5,000 after first 6 weeks
- Techs must be available anytime, day or night, with the ability to be to the shop within 30-60 minutes.
- Techs will take drive their own vehicle to the shop and then ride with another tech to the job site in a service truck.
- Only senior level technicians are allowed to have work vehicles.
- A sea trial must be done after every repair, so candidates must be open to sea trials.
- Initially, all travel will be within 2 hours of the shop, east and west along the gulf coast following where the ship is at.
- As technicians become more advanced, further travel and eventually even international travel is possible (higher level), so a TWIC card and passport are a plus, but not required.
Interviews will consist of a phone screen with the recruiter. If selected to move on, candidates will then participate in a 90 minute video interview with the hiring team.
