Rate- $45 -$55/hr on W2
Role: Quality Assurance Engineer (Entry-Level)
Location: Portage, MI 49002
Work Type: Onsite – Local Or willing to relocate to client location
Duration: 12 Months
I’m currently hiring for an entry-level Quality Assurance Engineer to support a hands-on production environment for one of our medical device clients. Please see below for key details of the role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a quality representative for line-down situations (mechanical and/ or electrical focus)
- Support data tracking and trending (e.g., defect trends, problem solving)
- Collaborate with teams on design or process changes.
- Perform technical writing and auditing/editing of records.
- Handle nonconformance reports in Trackwise.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to get lines back up and running.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and technical mindset.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite; SQL is a plus.
- 0-4 years of relevant experience (open to strong new grads as well)
- Must be comfortable with ~60/40 office vs manufacturing floor split.
