- Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all investigations and provide regular reports to management on potential fraud cases.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Specific experience in mortgage processing or loan underwriting is essential.
- Education: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic Excel and familiarity with financial software tools.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
- Fraud Prevention: Experience in fraud prevention or investigation is a plus, though not required.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt underwriting skills to the fraud detection process.
Interview Process:
- First Round: 30-minute virtual screening with Doug, our Hiring Manager.
- Final Round: On-site interview with the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and other key team members.
Why Join Us?
- Career Growth: This role offers a unique opportunity to transition into fraud detection, leveraging your background in financial services.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule, with remote work on Saturdays.
- Comprehensive Benefits: We offer full benefits to support your health, well-being, and professional development.
If you are a motivated professional with a strong foundation in mortgage or loan underwriting and are looking to expand your expertise into fraud detection, we encourage you to apply. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be key in protecting our company and clients from fraud risks.
