Hardware Technician – Temporary

Dexian has an immediate opportunity available for a temporary Hardware Technician. The Hardware Technician will be responsible for removing older equipment from racks and cleaning up / organizing storage closets in the client’s Data Center.

The Hardware Technician will possess:

• Intermediate knowledge of enterprise level PC’s and various network and data center equipment.
• Basic understanding of hardware support (i.e. swapping hard drive, fan, motherboard).
• Basic understanding of inventory management, shipping and receiving, and asset management to include: warehouse processes for shipping/receiving packages, asset tags, unboxing, return merchandise authorization (RMA) tracking.

REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• One to two (1 – 2) years’ experience in hardware and/or networking support.
• Position requires dexterity and ability to sit, stand, and walk extended distances. Will require mobility in lifting and moving computer equipment.

This position requires an active Department of Defense security clearance at the SECRET level upon hire or ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
U.S. citizens ONLY are eligible for a security clearance and this position.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED required. Some related college coursework desired.

OTHER:

• This position is located on-site at a facility in El Segundo, CA.
• This is a temporary position starting immediately with a projected end date of 15 September 2025.

COMPENSATION:

• Dexian reasonably expects to pay $22.00 to $25.00/hour for this position. Benefits to include health, vision and dental insurance, generous PTO and matching 401k.

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:

• Submit/Pass a 10-year background check, criminal history, drug screening, and fingerprints.
• Valid driver’s license/Real-ID with clean driver’s history.
• Self-starter with extremely strong work ethic. Excellent time-management and multitasking skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy required.
• Demonstrated problem solving and people skills.
• Ability to research, resolve and complete tasks within pre-determined deadlines and schedules.
• Ability to process work quickly and accurately – dealing with interruptions, changing timelines and priorities on a regular basis.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate details in a professional manner.
• Must embrace technology to promote efficient operations.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word programs.
