Information Technology Technician (IMAC) – temporary

Dexian has immediate opportunities available for temporary Information Technology (IT) Technicians to provide Install/Move/Add/Change (IMAC) support for our growing aerospace customer.

IMAC Technicians will:

• Be responsible for providing install/move/add/change functions for computing devices, associated peripherals, and customer approved software.
• Provide the appropriate office support to coordinate and schedule new equipment installations.
• Monitor and update ServiceNow to ensure that all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and make updates to ServiceNow asset records.
• Be responsible for the on-site installation of new devices.
• Assist in coordinating, scheduling and performing relocations and re-installations of equipment upon approval from the customer.
• Perform periodic physical audits of end user computing devices to compare with ServiceNow’s records (deployment location, storage location, and assignee information).

REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Two (2) plus years’ experience supporting IT moves and installations.

• Review, update and audit ServiceNow request “tickets” for data accuracy.

• Create service requests in ticketing system for installation, conversions, upgrades, special projects.
• Support HR on/off-boarding activities related to equipment purchasing.
• Ability to work in a professional environment and have excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, coworkers and customers.
• Support reporting requirements for the program and special projects.
• Assists in receipt and track storage of inventory items.
• Perform physical inventory of assets and peripherals.
• Fulfill ticket requests within a timely manner.
• Interface with customers to schedule hardware/software installations or other IT related functions.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without assistance as well as able to perform tasks requiring frequent bending, stooping and lifting of objects.

This position requires an active Department of Defense security clearance at the SECRET level upon hire or ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
U.S. citizens ONLY are eligible for a security clearance and this position.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma required. Associate degree or college coursework in IT / Computer Sciences, preferred.
• Current IAT Level I Technical Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire (CompTIA A+ or equivalent).

OTHER:

• The position is located on-site at a facility in El Segundo, CA.
• This is a temporary position starting immediately with a projected end date of 30 June 2025.

COMPENSATION:

• Dexian reasonably expects to pay $30.00/hour for this position. Benefits to include health, vision and dental insurance, generous PTO and matching 401k.

• Submit/Pass a 10-year background check, criminal history, drug screening, and fingerprints.
• Valid driver’s license/Real-ID with clean driver’s history.
• Self-starter with extremely strong work ethic. Excellent time-management and multitasking skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy required.
• Demonstrated problem solving and people skills.
• Ability to research, resolve and complete tasks within pre-determined deadlines and schedules.
• Ability to process work quickly and accurately – dealing with interruptions, changing timelines and priorities on a regular basis.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate details in a professional manner.
• Must embrace technology to promote efficient operations.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word programs.
