Jira Admin

Job Summary: The Jira Administrator will be responsible for designing, setting up, and managing the Jira environment for a regional bank. This role will initially support a setup for 50 users and is expected to scale to over 500 users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Jira administration, with experience in designing templates, setting up reports, and ensuring the system is configured properly for optimal performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a scalable Jira environment to meet the needs of the bank.
• Ensure proper setup and configuration of Jira for initial 50 users, with scalability in mind for future expansion.
• Create and manage Jira templates to streamline workflows and processes.
• Set up comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide insights into project status and team performance.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and tailor the Jira setup accordingly.
• Provide training and support to users to ensure effective use of the Jira platform.
• Maintain system integrity and security, implementing best practices for access and data management.
• Collaborate with IT and project management teams to integrate Jira with other tools and systems.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Jira Administrator, with a track record of successful environment design and management.
• Strong understanding of Jira workflows, configuration, and customization.
• Experience in scaling Jira environments to support a large number of users.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and training abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
