Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Ponce Inlet FL
Duration: 5-6 Months (with potential for extension)
Schedule: Full-Time | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Days Off: Thursdays + Alternate Fridays
Pay: $25-$30 per hour
About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our small but strong team for a temporary 5-6 month position while a current technician is on medical leave. This is a full-time outdoor role, ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, fresh air, and being around water. The work is based in a walkable beachside location with stunning river views.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform general maintenance and repair work
- Assist with electrical and plumbing tasks
- Conduct inspections (corrosion, coating, and related assessments)
- Follow instructions and complete various hands-on duties
- Support with lifting/moving equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- Work in and around water, often in hot outdoor weather conditions
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate Degree required
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Physically strong and comfortable with manual labor
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team
- Must be willing to learn new tasks – no computer work involved
