Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer III

Duration: 06 Months Contract + Possibility of Extension/FTE

Location: Seymour, IN USA 47274

Pay rate: $40.00 – $42.96 hourly

JOB SUMMARY:

Hours: 7AM – 3:30PM or 8AM -4:30PM

Summary:

• Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical equipment, systems and processes.
• Can use engineering drawings and read and interpret blueprints.
• Competent understand necessary for machine spares strategies, spare parts cataloging, Indirect Crib storage & management tools, identifying and sourcing materials, cross referencing international supplied items with domestic source options, etc.
• Experience in MRO storage systems is beneficial.
• Exercises independent judgment with limited direction from supervisor

Basic skills required include:

o Ability to make common computations, utilize Excel, PowerPoint, Word, network based filesharing, and computer-generated reports.

o Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) is beneficial.

‘Must Have’ skills and experiences:

• Strong Technical understanding of equipment spares / parts diagrams / bill of materials
• Preference for experience using Maintenance management systems such as Maximo or other maintenance and spares planning software packages.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred in an engineering field with 5-7+ years demonstrated work experience in an industrial/automotive/etc. manufacturing environment or maintenance functions.
