Pay-range: $80K – $100K Annually.
Description:
Client is seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to lead and manage our electrical service department, commercial construction, and utility construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for running crews, ensuring project efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and playing a pivotal role in business development to expand our client base. This position offers the opportunity to join a growing, dynamic company focused on innovative EV, infrastructure, and fiber solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the daily operations of electrical contracting projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Crew Leadership: Manage and lead a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring productivity and maintaining high-quality work standards.
- Business Development: Develop relationships with potential clients, bid on new projects, and secure contracts for future work.
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert-level troubleshooting, repair, and installation of commercial and utility electrical systems.
- Safety Management: Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations and actively promote a safe working environment.
- Client Relations: Communicate with clients to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction with project outcomes.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets, material procurement, and financial reporting to maximize profitability.
Qualifications:
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid Master Electrician license in the state of Florida (or the ability to obtain one).
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a commercial or utility electrician, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role.
- Business Development: Proven experience in securing and managing electrical contracts, with a strong network of contacts in the utility and commercial sectors.
- Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of electrical codes, high-voltage systems, and large-scale commercial electrical installations.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing crews of 10+ employees.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions quickly.
- Safety Focus: In-depth understanding of OSHA regulations and other safety protocols within the electrical industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Certifications: Additional certifications such as OSHA 30, PMP, or other relevant qualifications.
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Utility Experience: Experience working with utility providers or large-scale infrastructure projects is a plus.
