Job Description: The main responsibility of a project coordinator is to ensure the project is running smoothly on time and to budget. Duties typically include planning certain parts of the project, monitoring its progress, coordinating meetings and overseeing members of the project team.
Project Description/Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Information Technology (IT) Project Coordinator. The IT Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting IT Project Managers and team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects. This involves coordinating the development of essential project artifacts, managing routine communications, and maintaining visibility into project status through consistent reporting.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Project Strategy & Planning:
- Develop project strategy plans in collaboration with IT Project Managers.
- Partner with project teams to identify goals, requirements, and deliverables.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Create, manage, and maintain project documentation, including reports.
- Track, forecast, and provide regular updates on progress, metrics, risks, and changes.
Communications & Coordination:
- Collect and organize information needed for project intake, approval, and prioritization.
- Manage project timeframes, objectives, and communications.
- Act as a subject matter expert for IT project planning processes.
- Support daily management meetings, scheduling, and other project team activities.
Analysis & Problem Solving:
- Gather, analyze, and communicate requirements, business processes, and policies.
- Identify and implement solutions to drive successful project outcomes.
Must Haves:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Project Coordinator, Project Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or a 2-year college degree.
- Proven track record of meeting project outcomes and timelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional research and reporting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools, including the MS suite.
- Background in project management with experience identifying and implementing solutions.
- Experience in high-volume, complex environments.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow (preferred).
- Experience working with Call Center teams (preferred).
Additional Skills & Other Requirements:
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or a 2-year college degree.
