We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in scheduling, coordinating, and managing project timelines, with specific expertise in Agile or Agile DevOps environments. The Project Scheduler will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Scheduling:
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Trello, or equivalent.
- Identify and sequence project tasks, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Regularly update schedules to reflect project progress and changes.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams to integrate sprint planning, iterations, and release schedules into overall project timelines.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables.
- Act as a liaison between project teams and management, ensuring clear communication of schedule-related issues.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track project performance and provide regular status updates on schedule adherence, risks, and potential delays.
- Generate reports and visualizations to communicate project timelines and progress effectively.
- Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies in collaboration with project teams.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously improve scheduling processes by integrating Agile principles and DevOps practices.
- Contribute to retrospectives and process reviews to enhance team productivity and project delivery timelines.
- Tool Utilization:
- Utilize project scheduling and management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Integrate Agile metrics and reporting dashboards to provide insights into team performance and project timelines.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in MS Project, preferably in an Agile or Agile DevOps environment.
- Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certification in Agile (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) or project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud-based development environments and tools.
- Knowledge of resource leveling and critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
Working Conditions:
