Job Title: Senior Application React Developer

Location: Fully Remote
Department: Software Engineering / Product Development
Reports To: Engineering Manager or Technical Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Application React Developer with a strong background in building and maintaining data-centric applications using React and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will bring experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, and possess a solid understanding of modern API standards including OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, and GraphQL. Experience in the healthcare domain is a significant plus.

As a senior developer, you will be responsible for driving the architecture and development of complex web applications, collaborating closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers. Your contributions will be critical in shaping scalable, high-performance applications that manage and display rich datasets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Build user-centric features that integrate with RESTful and event-driven APIs (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, GraphQL).
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to query, store, and visualize complex data sets.
  • Contribute to the planning and architecture of scalable and secure application solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers.
  • Implement best practices in code quality, testing, documentation, and performance optimization.
  • Lead or mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and uphold high standards of development.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and tools relevant to frontend and full-stack development.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development with a focus on React and TypeScript.
  • Strong experience working with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
  • Proven experience integrating with OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, and GraphQL specifications and tools.
  • Deep understanding of web application architecture, component-based design, and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
  • Experience working on data-centric applications involving complex data models, visualizations, or real-time data.
  • Proficiency in building scalable, maintainable, and testable codebases.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in the healthcare industry or with HIPAA-compliant applications.
  • Knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python) and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) and real-time data handling.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
